For some reason my windows 10 machine doesn't have access to active directory as in when i go to admin services all those options dont show up like it shows for you at 11:48. The computer shows up on the server AD so I know they are linked and it worked when pinging

I want to work as IT Support, I saw a training path on Skillsforall (Cisco) Junior Cybersecurity Analyst and Network Technicien, I wanted to do even an Coursera subscription to take certifications, which one you would recommend? What you think , i already work as Helpdesk ( 3rd month ) I already worked 2 month as IT Support Helper with Amazon , and 2 month in another eu country, what you suggest to me Kevin <3 , i always apprecciate your help :)

Hi Kev, I've created the task manager group policy object and have enforced it but for some reason when running the command 'gpupdate /force' with patty on desktop2, I'm getting some error messages , being 'policy could not be updated successfully because of .........1)Network connectivity to the domain controller 2)File replication service latency 3) The distribution file system has been disabled. Not sure how to go from there. Also at 8:42 I was denied the group policy result wizard when choosing desktop2. Not sure if that'll help with troubleshooting the above.

Hi Kev, I've watched this entire lab video and have understood for the most part but I need a bit of clarification. 1) At 9:23 you added the 'personal' security group to the security permission of the folder whereby you specified permission rights (modify,read,write etc) and at 9:34 you also specified read and write permissions for the security group 'personal' in the sharing tab of the folder. So the question is what is the difference between read and write permissions in the sharing tab of the folder vs the security tab of the folder? 2) The first mapping a drive method you showed made complete sense to me but the second method despite being more quicker threw me off especially with the new folder 'patty' being created. Is there a way to map a network drive and get the same results using both methods(in other words not create a patty folder with the second method)?
